New Moon in Aries, Solar Eclipse and Emotional Grace
I actively let go of deep-seated ancestral and personal emotions, including anger, rage, grief, and sorrow, that have burdened my spirit and clouded my experiences. These emotions, while once protective or reactionary, no longer serve my journey towards inner peace and empowerment. In consciously releasing these heavy weights, I make space within myself to welcome and nurture life-affirming qualities.
I invite joy, to elevate my spirit and fill my days with laughter and lightness. I embrace love, to deepen my connections with others and myself, fostering kindness and understanding. I cultivate gratitude, to appreciate the abundance and blessings that surround me, recognizing even the smallest gifts life offers. I seek peace, to maintain a calm and steady heart, even in the face of life’s challenges. Lastly, I strengthen my empowerment, to stand firm in my decisions and actions, confident in my ability to shape my destiny.
Through this ritual, I commit to a balanced exchange of releasing what harms and embracing what heals, thus aligning more closely with my truest self and highest potential.

Cleansing & Setting the Space
I conduct the ritual indoors, creating a sacred and controlled environment where I can focus and meditate without disturbances. I prepare the altar, which serves as the focal point of my ritual. It’s covered with a white tablecloth, symbolizing purity and a fresh start. On this altar, I place a large glass bowl of water to act as a conduit for emotional energy. Around the bowl, I arrange sunflowers, which symbolize the joy and light I am calling into my life. I add honey and lemons to honor Oshun, invoking her sweetness and cleansing properties.
I place a small cow figurine to represent Isis, acknowledging her nurturing and protective qualities. I also set three sunstone crystals for Ra to draw upon his radiant solar energy and three clear quartz crystals to channel my Djinn energy, each enhancing my connection to these powerful forces.
The candles—orange for Ra, white for Isis, yellow for Oshun, and blue for my Djinn energy—are arranged and lit on the altar. This lighting of the candles is both a literal and symbolic act, illuminating the space and inviting the presence and guidance of these divine energies.
Invocation & Libation
With the candles already casting a warm and inviting glow, I pour a small amount of water into a bowl as an offering to the Earth. This gesture of reverence connects me to the Earth and acknowledges its everlasting support. It’s a request for permission to tap into the spiritual realm, symbolizing my gratitude and recognition of the foundational role the Earth plays in all life and spiritual practices.
Standing before my altar, I speak aloud with conviction and clarity: ‘I call upon the energies of Oshun, Isis, Ra, and my Djinn spirit, along with all ancestors who wish to uplift me. I ask for your guidance and support in this ritual of release and renewal. Be with me as I shed the weights of the past and open myself to the new possibilities that await. Lend me your strength, wisdom, and love as I navigate this transformative journey.’
This invocation not only summons the spiritual forces but also aligns my spirit with their divine frequencies, setting the stage for a profound exchange of energy and intention. Through this ritual, I seek to bridge the earthly and the divine, creating a conduit for growth, healing, and empowerment.
Intention Setting
Under the shadow of the New Moon, I stand ready to harness her sacred power of release and renewal. I consciously let go of deep-seated ancestral and personal burdens—anger, rage, grief, and sorrow. I release these heavy emotions into the Earth, trusting in her capacity to transform them into healing energy. As I free myself from these chains, I also dissolve lingering doubts and fears that have hindered my authentic expression and joy.
I open my heart fully to the rich, nurturing energies I wish to attract into my life. I welcome joy, to brighten my days and uplift my spirit. I invite love, to deepen my connections and enrich my interactions. I embrace gratitude, recognizing the abundance that surrounds me and acknowledging each blessing, no matter how small. I seek peace, to maintain serenity in my soul, even amidst chaos.
With the benevolent guidance of Oshun, Isis, Ra, and the spirits of my ancestors, I call forth courage to face challenges boldly. I summon empowerment to take charge of my life with confidence. I cultivate harmony, to find balance in all aspects of my existence. I celebrate my sensitivity, embracing it as a divine gift that allows me to experience the world profoundly and to engage deeply in my healing journey.
This ritual is a proclamation of a new beginning. I step onto a path of authenticity and abundance, illuminated by the New Moon’s gentle, promising light. This is my affirmation of transformation and growth—a declaration of my readiness to embrace the changes that will lead me to my truest self.
Incantation
As I stand before my altar, under the gentle candle lights, I close my eyes and take a deep breath, grounding myself in the present moment. I begin to visualize each emotion that has weighed heavily on my heart—anger, rage, grief, sorrow. These emotions form into dark clouds swirling around me. With each exhale, I gently push these clouds away from my body, watching as they drift towards the Earth. The Earth, a powerful and nurturing presence, receives these clouds and, with her transformative energy, turns them into brilliant, radiant light. This light dissipates into a warm glow that begins to fill the space around me, cleansing and purifying the air.
With the space around me cleared and bright, I now visualize myself absorbing vibrant energies that each candle on my altar represents—orange for the vitality of Ra, white for the purity of Isis, yellow for the joy of Oshun, and blue for the clarity of my Djinn energy. These colors merge into a spectrum of light that hugs me, seeping into my being, filling me with joy, love, gratitude, peace, and empowerment. As these energies infuse my spirit, I see my future self walking through life with a new-found confidence and harmony, every step taken with purpose and every decision made with clarity.
In Reverence–
Under the watchful eyes of the New Moon, by the sacred power she grants, I speak now my truths and desires. By the guidance of the divine, and the supportive energies of Oshun, Isis, Ra, and my guiding Djinn spirit, I release all that no longer serves my highest good. I let go of past burdens and welcome the blessings that now begin to unfold before me. As I speak these words, I am not just speaking; I am declaring my rebirth. I am renewed, I am empowered, I am reborn. With every breath, I embrace this transformation, and with gratitude, I accept my journey towards a future filled with love, growth and expansion.
Gratitude & Closing the Portal
As the ritual nears its completion, I pause to deeply connect with the gratitude filling my heart. Standing before the altar, I reflect on the presence and assistance of each divine energy that has guided me through this sacred process. I express my heartfelt thanks to Oshun, for her joy and nurturing love; to Isis, for her protection and wisdom; to Ra, for his vitality and creative spark; to my Djinn spirit, for clarity and empowerment; and to my ancestors, whose support transcends the boundaries of time and space.
With a spirit full of peace and renewal, I prepare to close the ritual, an important act to mark the transition back to my everyday life while retaining the sacred energies I invoked. I approach each candle—orange for Ra, white for Isis, yellow for Oshun, and blue for my Djinn energy—and one by one, I extinguish them. Each breath I use to blow out the candles is a soft whisper of farewell and a seal over the work completed.
As the last candle’s light fades, I affirm the closure of this sacred experience. The portal is closed, the circle is complete. I am surrounded by divine love, secured in the knowledge that the bonds formed today are not broken, but rather integrated into every aspect of my life. I step forward surrounded by a shield of divine protection and love, ready to embrace the blessings of my transformed path.
Reflection
I sit quietly, the calm still around me. I think about the powerful emotions I released—anger, rage, grief, sorrow. Seeing these emotions as dark clouds leaving me and being transformed by the Earth feels deeply freeing. This transformation didn’t just lighten my emotional load; it purified me inside out.
The energies from the candles—fill me with a warmth that spreads throughout my body. I feel infused with new depths of joy, love, gratitude, peace, empowerment. I feel myself flowing into a new balance, a clear and purposeful harmony.
The presence of the divine forces and my ancestors feels nourishing and intimate. They guide and support me, making their presence known through every step. The insights I gain are clear and point me towards renewal and rebirth, reflecting the New Moon’s transformative power.
This moment of reflection confirms I’m on the right path, a path brightly lit by continuous growth, love, and the limitless potential for exponential expansion. Thank you Spirit for the lessons and the blessings. Asé.
